This course considers religion and science from a cross-cultural anthropological perspective to explore and understand how different social groups in different cultural and historical contexts come to know and understand the world around them. This course will examine a wide range of classical and contemporary anthropological, cross-cultural approaches to some large questions that human societies might ask themselves, and to the nature of their lives, worlds, and experiences. Course Websites hosted on York's "eClass" are accessible to students during the first week of the term. It takes two business days from the time of your enrolment to access your course website.
