Calendar Description / Prerequisite / Co-Requisite
This course, which brings students up to a high CEFR A2 level (Council of Europe's Common European Framework of Reference for Languages), helps students to develop greater fluency in real-time interactions while further expanding their reading and writing abilities, and grammatical and cultural knowledge. This course does not count towards the degree requirements for students majoring or minoring in French Studies. Prerequisite: AP/FR 1003 3.00 (with a minimum grade of C, or C- under the new grading scheme) or GL/FRAN 1825 3.00 (with a minimum grade of C, or C- under the new grading scheme), GL/FRAN 1325 3.00 (with a minimum grade of C, or C- under the new grading scheme), or through a language placement test. Course credit exclusions: AP/FR 0130 6.00, AP/FR 1030 6.00, GL/FRAN 1830 3.00, GL/FRAN 1330 3.00.
