This course explores the creative popular repertoire of global pop cultural icon, Beyonce, from the perspectives of Black Feminist, Critical Race, Sexuality/Queer and Cultural Studies. It focuses on the intersections of race, gender, sexuality, queerness, and class in national and global pop cultural contexts through an analysis of Beyonce's discography, videography, interviews, and social media discourse. Pre-requisites: AP/GWST1501 9.00, AP/GWST1502 6.00, AP/GWST2511 6.00, AP/SXST1600 9.00 or AP/SXST1601 6.00 Previously offered as AP/GWST 3573 3.00
