Calendar Description / Prerequisite / Co-Requisite

Pronunciation, intonation and diction are key to effective communication. This course builds on the theory acquired in the pre-requisite course and focuses on the practice of French phonetics and French prosody. Students will improve their command of the sounds, rhythm and intonation of French through intensive pronunciation and prosody practice. This course is not intended for native speakers of French.Prerequisite: AP/FR 2100 6.00 with a minimum grade of C (C- under the new grading scheme) Course credit exclusions: GL/FRAN 3621 3.00, GL/FRLS 2700 3.00, GL/LIN 3621 3.00.


Course Start Up
