Professional writers make conscious and unconscious choices with ethical significance on a daily basis. In this course, students learn about contemporary ethical issues for professional writers through readings and application. Issues studied may include the politics of research choices, representation and identity, inclusion and access, and the boundaries of public/private in the context of textual, visual, and multimedia writing. Note: Students who have successfully completed AP/WRIT 2003 6.0 prior to F/W 2023, may take AP/PRWR 2008 3.0 as a Free Choice elective credit only.


Course Start Up

Course Websites hosted on York's "eClass" are accessible to students during the first week of the term. It takes two business days from the time of your enrolment to access your course website.
