This course, which is designed for beginners or near-beginners, focuses on the development of basic oral and written skills in French and offers an introduction to French culture.This course will not count towards the degree requirements for students majoring or minoring in French Studies. Note: Students may only register in AP/FR 0120 6.00 through a language placement test. Course credit exclusions: GL/FRLS 0400 6.00 (Prior to Fall 2013) Note: Course code and Title were AP/FR 1020 Introductory French prior to Summer 2021.

No examinations or tests collectively worth more than 20% of the final grade in a course will be given during the final 14 calendar days of classes in a term.
