Offers a sociological critique of race and racism by examining both the concept and practices in terms of social organization, discourse and history. Biogenetic and cultural racism are investigated in terms of knowledge frameworks involving gender and class. Course credit exclusions: AP/MIST 3680 6.00, AP/SOCI 3680 6.00, AP/REI 3680 6.00 (prior to Fall 2013).


Course Start Up

Course Websites hosted on York's "eClass" are accessible to students during the first week of the term. It takes two business days from the time of your enrolment to access your course website.
