This course begins by evaluating selected feminist theories in the light of their ability to explain policy developments. The course examines the implications of public policies implemented in the context of the economic, social and political restructuring of the last 20 years. A range of issues are examined, including for example, income security, childcare, globalization and migration, health care and equality struggles.


Course Start Up

Course Websites hosted on York's "eClass" are accessible to students during the first week of the term. It takes two business days from the time of your enrolment to access your course website.
