Colonialism and racial conflict examined in historical and comparative perspective, including a discussion of links between racism and sexism. Examples are drawn from some of these areas: Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean, the Middle East. Course credit exclusion: AP/REI 3620 6.00 (prior to Fall 2013), AP/SOCI 3620 6.00 (prior to Fall 2012).


Course Start Up

Course Websites hosted on York's "eClass" are accessible to students during the first week of the term. It takes two business days from the time of your enrolment to access your course website.
