This seminar provides students with a critical analysis of the politics of migration and refugee protection. It develops an interdisciplinary and multicultural understanding of the nature and evolution of national and international refugee regimes, with emphasis on the different types of actors, structures, processes and norms that organise and control borders.Prerequisites: 78 credits, including AP/HREQ 1010 6.0 or permission from the Undergraduate Program DirectorCourse credit exclusions: AP/PPAS 4111 3.00, AP/PPAS 4112 3.00
