This course will provide an overview of Canadian women's evolving roles and their response to these roles as both cause and product of changing economic, social and cultural conditions. We will examine such things as woman's changing role in the family and workplace and the rise of the women's movement. Note: This course will not count for major credit in HREQ. Course credit exclusion: AP/SOSC 1185 9.00.
