This course examines violent domination, slave trade and slavery, and the place of enslavement as an extreme form of social exclusion and violation of human rights.Prerequisites: 78 credits, or permission from the Undergraduate Program Director.

No examinations or tests collectively worth more than 20% of the final grade in a course will be given during the final 14 calendar days of classes in a term.
