Covers, at the advanced level, topics in international monetary economics including exchange rates, balance of payments accounts, monetary policy under fixed and flexible exchange rates, international monetary problems and possible solutions, and theories of the balance of payments. Prerequisites: AP/ECON 2300 3.00, AP/ECON 2350 3.00, AP/ECON 2400 3.00, AP/ECON 2450 3.00 and AP/ECON 3580 3.00, or equivalents.
