An independent piece of research done under the supervision of a faculty adviser. The thesis must be submitted before the end of classes in the winter term; an exact date is established each year. There is an oral examination on the Honours thesis. One lecture hour per week at the beginning of the course. Two terms. Prerequisite: 84 credits passed. Course credit exclusions: None. PRIOR TO FALL 2009: Prerequisite: 84 credits passed. Course credit exclusion: AS/GEOG 4000 6.00.

No examinations or tests collectively worth more than 20% of the final grade in a course will be given during the final 14 calendar days of classes in a term.
