The course deals with the specialized language of business-related subjects, including business etiquette. Materials include a text of formal conversations on typical business transactions, newspaper and journal articles, as well as TV news broadcasts on foreign trade and economic development. Prerequisites: AP/CH 3000 6.00, AP/CH 3010 6.00, or equivalent, or permission of the Department.

No examinations or tests collectively worth more than 20% of the final grade in a course will be given during the final 14 calendar days of classes in a term.
