The course considers the social/cultural role of journalism and of the journalist. What duties and responsibilities has the journalist to subjects, sources, stories, editors, employers, readers? What potential conflicts are there among these interests and how ought these to be considered. Course credit exclusion: AP/WRIT/EN 4701 3.00

No examinations or tests collectively worth more than 20% of the final grade in a course will be given during the final 14 calendar days of classes in a term.
