This course focuses on skills essential for a successful university experience. The course covers topics such as time management, reading skills, note taking, study and exam techniques, essay writing, library research skills, and personal issues such as self-esteem, managing emotions and confidence. The course evaluation will be pass/fail only. Note: This course is not open to all students; enrolment is restricted.

No examinations or tests collectively worth more than 20% of the final grade in a course will be given during the final 14 calendar days of classes in a term.
