Introduces students to international monetary economics. Topics include the exchange rate and exchange rate regimes, the automatic adjustment process, open economy macroeconomics and policy, international financial markets, and economic integration. Prerequisites: AP/ECON 1000 3.00 and AP/ECON 1010 3.00 or equivalents.

No examinations or tests collectively worth more than 20% of the final grade in a course will be given during the final 14 calendar days of classes in a term.
